Johnie M Nguyen, D.D.S.
Hello, I am Dr. Nguyen and I was born in Northridge California, but lived in Grand Blanc, Michigan for over 25 years. I attended the University of Detroit Mercy where i obtained my Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry and graduated magna cum laude.
Then I attended the University of Detroit Mercy School of Dentistry where I obtained my D.D.S. in May 2002. Following dental school, I left my fellow peers and colleagues and volunteered in the armed services. This was shortly after 9-11 and I felt a duty and patriotic service to my country. I spent four years practicing dentistry at Fort Bragg, NC and served as a Captain in the US Army Dental Command. I am also a combat veteran who deployed to the Middle East in support of Operation Enduring Freedom and spent a year in the Kuwaiti dessert. My mission was to care for the dental needs of military soldiers so they could be combat ready. I continue to serve in the military reserves and complete annual training; holding the rank of Major.
After I completed my service obligation, I moved to the Dallas Metroplex to be closer to my family who moved here in 2005. For a period of time, I associated in South Dallas in a private practice before deciding to reside and practice in Flower Mound.
My rigorous training in school, in the private sector, military background, mentors, study clubs, hundreds of continuing education courses bring years of experience and an array of services from complex wisdom teeth removal to root canal treatment, implants, restorative and cosmetic procedures all in one convenient location. I've studied with some of the most prominent educators and world renowned specialists in the area of aesthetic, advance restorative and implant dentistry. My artistic skills, attention to detail and advance training has allowed me to give my patient's a beautiful natural smiles to last a lifetime. Dental Affiliation includes the American Dental Association, The American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry and the International Association of Orthodontists.
I am a Dentist for several members of the Dallas Cowboys. I emphasize on patient comfort, as well as keeping updated to the latest advancement in dentistry to provide my patient the best quality of care. I invite you and your family to join us!
